Meet Pamela Kurasinski: Welcoming Our New Office Manager
We are delighted to introduce Pamela Kurasinski, our new Office Manager at WHVP. With a broad international background and a genuine passion for finance and operations, Pamela brings fresh energy, versatility and a sharp eye for detail to our Zurich office.
Pamela joins WHVP with experience spanning the banking, construction, IT and pharmaceutical industries, giving her a uniquely diverse perspective that she brings to her role every day. She is known for her tech-savvy approach and has managed marketing campaigns, web development projects and social media accounts across a variety of sectors. Alongside this, she brings a strong administrative foundation that makes her an invaluable addition to our team.
Her path to WHVP was driven by a long-standing fascination with the Swiss banking system and a deep interest in geopolitics and finance. What drew her to WHVP specifically was the firm's unique focus on serving American clients and its more than three decades of experience serving clients.
Five Questions with Pamela
What motivated you to join WHVP, and what stood out to you about the firm?
I have always been fascinated by the Swiss banking system. Long before I ever imagined living in Switzerland, I knew it was widely regarded as a stable and well-established financial environment. What really drew me in was how niche and specialized the firm is, catering specifically to American clients is something truly unique, and a firm with more than three decades of experience serving clients made it an opportunity I simply could not pass up.
What professional experience do you bring into your role at WHVP?
I bring a broad and international background, having worked across the banking, construction, IT and pharmaceutical industries. I have hands-on experience managing marketing campaigns, web development projects and social media accounts across a variety of sectors, alongside a strong administrative foundation and an intercultural mindset.
What do you find most interesting about working in the operational side of wealth management?
The variety, without a doubt. You get a window into so many different aspects of the business, and no two days are ever quite the same. There is always something new to learn, which keeps things both challenging and exciting.
What skills or qualities are especially important in your role?
The ability to multitask is essential, but knowing how to prioritise matters just as much. Understanding what needs immediate attention, what can wait, and what does not require action at all. Beyond that, I believe it is important to ask how your own experience and skills can genuinely contribute to moving the company forward, whether in big ways or small ones.
Outside of work, how do you like to spend your time or recharge?
I love exploring Switzerland with my daughter and friends, running, breathwork and cooking. Switzerland never stops surprising me!
A native South African, Pamela is a speaker of all 11 official South African languages, including English and Afrikaans, the latter of which gives her a working knowledge of Dutch. She also has a basic understanding of French.
We are excited to have Pamela on board and look forward to everything she will bring to the WHVP team. Welcome, Pamela!
