WHVP Crowned Best Servicing for North American Clients
WHVP, one of the industry leaders in cross-border wealth management has been crowned “Best Servicing for North American Clients” and “Best Overall Digital Engaging (In-House)” at the Inaugural WealthBriefing Swiss EAM Annual Awards 2021.
Showcasing ‘best of breed’ managers in the Swiss EAM sector, the awards have been designed to recognize outstanding organizations grouped by size, specialism, and geography which the prestigious panel of judges deemed to have ‘demonstrated innovation and excellence during 2020’.
Citation for Servicing North American Clients: “Judges were impressed with WHVP’s submission which detailed its long-term experience which has led to it handling many crises successfully, most notably the 2011 dispute between Switzerland and the U.S. Its ethical business practices and long-term orientation has led the business to continuously manage U.S. clients when most Swiss financial organizations declined to do so.”
Citation for Overall Digital Engagement (In-House): “The judges pointed out that unlike most Swiss asset managers, WHVP has stepped up its social media presence with a very useful podcast and webinars. It was this continuing commitment to new digital channels, including social media that drew the judges’ attention in this category.”
Commenting on the recognition, Jamie Vrijhof-Droese, Managing Partner of WHVP, said: "We are thrilled about this accolade. We are especially proud of this achievement since we received it for our work during an unprecedented global crisis and our succession journey! This award is an acknowledgment of the hard work every single member of our team has put into WHVP. It highlights our special expertise, commitment, innovation, and dedication towards North American clients. It inspires us to continue offering a great service. We hope that it shows U.S. connected-investors that moving money offshore to Switzerland is an option that can add tremendous benefits if you find the right partner to help you."
ClearView Financial Media’s CEO, and Publisher of WealthBriefing, Stephen Harris, was first to extend his congratulations to all the winners. He said: “The managers which triumphed in these awards are all worthy winners, and I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations. These awards were judged solely based on entrants’ submissions and their response to several specific questions, which were answered by focusing on the client experience rather than purely quantitative performance metrics. That is unique, and I believe, a compelling feature. These awards recognize the very best operators in Swiss independent asset management, with ‘independence’, ‘integrity’, and ‘genuine insight’ the watchwords of the judging process - such that the awards truly reflect excellence in Swiss wealth management.
