We would like to take the opportunity to look back on an eventful year for WHVP and tell you about some of the things we are excited about. 

The first highlight of 2022 was our win at the Wealth Briefing Award for Swiss External Asset Managers in the category “Client Communication”. It is a wonderful thing to be recognized for the many decades we have spent servicing our American clients.

Early in the year, we also started a partnership with a local triathlete that we are sponsoring, Fabian Duttli. Fabian took first place at the Zurich City Triathlon as well as the Tägi Triathlon and 4th overall at the Ironman Austria and the Ironman Cozumel. We are proud of his accomplishments and happy to play a small role in his success.

On the topic of sports achievements, our team member Jess Roberson received his Swiss Olympic card this year for his participation in rugby as a part of the Swiss national team.

Our Managing Partner Jamie Vrijhof-Droese continues to work hard as a board member of the Swiss Association of Asset Managers. Part of her role there is her involvement in lobbying for an attractive Swiss financial center. She presented her case for a Swiss trust law in front of an outer-parliamentary commission.

Jamie also continues to be an active participant in the local financial industry, where she regularly is asked to present and participate in panel discussions. Additionally, as of this month, she now has her own column in the industry magazine SPHERE and is part of the video format "Money Walk", where she works on increasing financial literacy in German-speaking regions.

Speaking of video content, this summer, we produced our first WHVP Image Film with the goal of showing a more personal side of who we are and what we do. If you didn't have the chance to check it out, have a look at it here.

In November, we had the joy and privilege of celebrating Julia Fernandez's 20th anniversary with WHVP. She started here on November 2, 2002, and has been a pillar of our company ever since!

And then lastly, we have been traveling to the U.S. regularly again. We have visited Florida, California, New York, Georgia, and Texas. And also got to welcome clients to our office again. The first trips of the new year are already booked. You can book a local meeting here.
