WHVP's Highlights of 2021

As 2021 is coming to an end, we would like to take the opportunity to look back on an eventful year and tell you about some of our highlights.

The first highlight of 2021 was our win at the Wealth Briefing Award for Swiss External Asset Managers in the category “Servicing North American Clients”. It is a wonderful thing to be recognized for themany decades we have spent on servicing Americans.

We have also been acknowledged by having one of our Managing Partners being voted into the board of the Swiss Association of Wealth Managers (SAM or in German VSV). We are excited about thisopportunity to improve the framework of the financial sector inSwitzerland and to give back to the community through our voluntary engagement.

Last summer we have welcomed Jess Roberson to our team. After successfully completing his internship we have offered him a full-time position where he supports us in administrative matters, communications, and research. We are especially proud that additionally to his great work at WHVP he has also been selected for the Swiss national rugby team, where he now represents our country in international games.

In September the biggest highlight of the year took place; the celebration of our 30 year anniversary as well as Robert Vrijhof's retirement.

And then last month the U.S. finally opened its borders to European travelers again. After a 21-month break, we were able to meet with Americans again. We made full use of this opportunity and visited Florida, California, New York, Illinois, and Wyoming. The first trips ofthe new year are already booked and if the situation remains stable weplan on traveling at full speed again soon. You can stay up to date on our trips here.

Additionally to creating our own content we have regularly been invited to speak at virtual events and more recently even in-person conferences again. We enjoy and welcome the opportunity to share our knowledge on cross-border asset management with a wider audience and plan to continue thiseffort in the new year.

And with this, we wish you a very Happy New Year! We are excited for the new year and are looking forward to seeing what it has in store for us.
